While everyone these days lives on their computers and smartphones (and I am still guilty of those habits too), I prefer the warmth of human interaction, the feel of pen to paper. So I keep a journal with all my notes. Hey, you never have to reboot paper!

After 4 decades on the planet, I finally was introduced to a motorcycle (DR125). I haven’t gotten off since! To me it’s all about freedom, friendships and digging deep in your gut to accomplish things you never thought you could. I couldn’t be more proud of winning the 2008 Baja 1000 Championship with my fellow women riders Anna Cody, Sarah, Jenn, Trisha – Quatro Chicas!

I’ve spent most of my life surrounded by some of the greatest musicians in the world, and I’ve learned that you’ve got to express yourself in some way. My outlet is painting.

I LOVE animals. From my dirt bike riding shih tzu Hunter, to the chickens, to my black Angus cows. I like them enough to share some really good beer!

I just wanted some land where I could throw my leg over a dirt bike every day. Little did I know that I was called to be the steward of this wonderful old ranch in Los Alamos. As the 4th owner since the Land Grants, I take my role seriously. The old adobe has been rebuilt as well as the 1910 silos, barns, and of course there’s a single track and lots of cow trails for riding!

After a long, productive day at the office, what better way than to kick back with a Chimay at our local hang.
