59 Model

Neck DCR: 7.6k // Bridge DCR: 8.2k

A full sounding, open, and versatile P.A.F.-style humbucker with an articulate treble attack, full bottom end, and scooped midrange. Provides tons of old-school tonal character, but with a brighter top end, and a more compressed sound.

The rough cast Alnico V magnet, plain enamel wire, and slighter hotter P.A.F.-style wind provide added mid-range harmonics, warmth and low-end balance, and a touch of additional compression and tons of natural sustain.

Delivers a warm, balanced, responsive, and lush tone for progressive metal. Features a prominent midrange and a focused low end. The high resonant peak makes for a sparkly top end and an incredible “bloom” on chords in high-gain situations.

Delivers a balanced, versatile tone that fits right between the 59 model and the Jazz neck pickup. The vintage output provides a great dynamic response and a wide harmonic range. You’ll get pristine cleans for intricate chordal and single-note runs with fluid leads under high gain.

59/Custom Hybrid

Bridge DCR: 11.2k

Harmonically rich hybrid humbucker that uses one coil from the 59 Model bridge and one coil from the higher output Duncan Custom model. The mismatched coils and Alnico 5 bar magnet keep the low end nice and tight and give the mids a grind that is perfect for hard rock and metal. Plenty of crunch and bite on top as well.

Delivers a clear, focused tone with a nicely balanced treble & bass response, and a backed off midrange. The shorter Allen head poles and Alnico 5 bar magnet bring a crisp clarity to the high end while keeping the low end tight and articulate.
