Russell Lissack

Russell Lissack (born 11 March 1981) is a British musician. He is the guitar player for the rock band Bloc Party He was born in Chingford in London.

Bloc Party are a British indie rock band. The band's music has been compared to bands such as the Cure, Gang of Four and the Strokes. Bloc Party are often cited as one of the most influential bands to come out of the British indie scene.

Bloc Party's first album, Silent Alarm, was released 2005 and was voted as the NME album of the year for 2005 in the UK before being certified platinum.

2022 Saw the Release of Bloc Party’s sixth studio album ‘Alpha Games’ and in 2023 a highly acclaimed tour in support of Paramore along with the release of ‘The High Life EP’
